THE EMBELLISHED HORNS

Material: 15' x 4' Live Edge Wood
Description:Traditional Jhoti motifs are intricately hand carved onto live-edge wood. These carved wooden surfaces are then embellished with hand-painted Nandi paper masks, each uniquely adorned in diverse Odia art styles such as Jhoti, Chandua and Patachitra art forms.

FACADE SIGNAGE DESIGN

Description: The custom-designed backlit signage is crafted from stainless steel with a sleek PU spray finish. It features a stylized depiction of a bus alongside the city's name, “Bhubaneswar,” rendered in an artistic script inspired by the gateway of the Mukteswar Temple —blending modern identity with heritage craftsmanship.

The TESSELLATED FEATHERS

Description:The miniature glass mosaic artwork of the Indian Roller—the State Bird of Odisha—is composed of countless 0.5” x 0.5” glass tiles, each meticulously affixed to the wall by hand using adhesive, creating a vibrant and detailed representation through a labor-intensive mosaic technique.

Description:The hand chiselled portrait of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar stands as a powerful tribute, brought to life through over 50 hours of meticulous craftsmanship. The artist enhanced the depth of the carving with subtle smudges of black pigment, adding dimension and character to the piece. Serving as the centrepiece of BSABT, the artwork honours Ambedkar's legacy with both artistic intensity and reverence

THE SPIRIT OF ODISSI

Material: 4' x 6' Live Edge Wood Hand
Description: This artwork is present at the reception of the bus terminus. The live-edge wood is intricately CNC-engraved with Jhoti patterns along the periphery, inspired by the Odia alphabets. At the center, hand-chiseled depictions of Odissi dance poses are brought to life with rich wood stain hues.

RIDLEY’S VOYAGE

Description: Ceramic turtles in varying sizes and shades of blue are arranged in a specific pattern giving a visual voyage where walls come alive with these sea nomads. This mural captures the essence of their journey,from the sandy shores to the deep blue sea bringing the spirit of the Olive Ridley to life.

CHISEL ARTWORK

Spanning the entire wall, the intricately carved surface is brought to life with layered paintwork, creating depth and texture that immediately captivates upon entry.

ENTRANCE GABION WALL
Location:Anandabana, Bhubaneswar
Material: 20' x 10' Gabion wall
Description:The entrance features a gabion wall composed of a 2m x 1m grid, formed by wire mesh supported on MS angles and filled with stone boulders. A CNC-cut corten steel panel showcases the backlit acrylic logo, creating a striking focal point. A cascading waterfall in front of the logo forms a soft, dynamic veil, enhancing the visual appeal and sensory experience.

MONOLITHIC STONE ART FURNITURE

Description: The Khandolite stone seating and signage within Anandabana are intricately hand-carved with motifs of animals, reptiles, and flowers—each symbolically reflecting the essence of Anandabana’s natural habitat. These elements not only serve a functional purpose but also narrate stories of the forest’s vibrant biodiversity.

GESTURES OF TRANQUILITY
Location:Khandagiri Square, Bhubaneswar
Material: 6' x 3' Stainless Steel sculptures Sculptures
Description: Gestures of Tranquility’ is a sculptural artwork representing Yoga Mudras, celebrating the spiritual legacy of Buddhism in the land of Odisha. The piece was crafted by first forming a wireframe structure, over which stainless steel sheets were carefully wrapped. The joints were then welded and grinding was done to achieve a seamless look.
